Louisa's Bike

Tobi's Bike

Louisa bought her bike on eBay - second-hand, but in very good condition. The Hercules frame, originally from the early 2000s, had already been equipped with high-end Shimano Deore XT components.

​

We upgraded the bike further by replacing the original wheel-dynamo with a high-end Son28 hub-dynamo, and adding many other travel bike parts.

Tobi also bought his bike second-hand on eBay, for less than 400 euros. The Wheeler frame is originally from 1998, according to the previous owner, and like Louisa's bike, already came with modern Shimano components.

On Tobi's bike we also added the Son28 hub-dynamo, lacing the complete front wheel by hand.
