About Us

We are Tobi and Louisa, a couple from Germany. We met in Dortmund while studying and have been together ever since. Louisa was born and raised in Dortmund. Tobi was born in the US, but grew up moving around with his family to Germany, Australia and China.

To travel the world has been a long-time dream of ours so we decided to make it come true - and what better way to do so, than by bike? You travel slowly, but can still cross continents, hardly spend any money, and best of all: it's *almost* entirely carbon-neutral. Climate change is upon us and we don't want to drive it even further just because we want to see the world.

Even with the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic we felt like it was the right time for us to embark on our journey in June 2021, and definitely haven't regretted our decision!

Our guitar travels with us - Tobi taught himself how to play guitar as a teenager and has been the guitarist and singer in several different hobby bands over the years. Louisa also loves to sing and together we perform a number of original and cover songs in the streets of many different cities, around the world! ...and of course record music videos for you to enjoy.

 

End of 2020, Tobi started giving Louisa guitar "lessons" and with lots of practice she was improving. So we initially decided to take two guitars with us on our journey. But after a while, Louisa decided that the little time she was spending playing her guitar was not worth carrying the extra weight. Luckily she was able to sell it and even our self-built guitar-rack to fellow travelers. So now only Tobi's guitar remains, but that will definitely stay with us!
